| Ok I have another one for everyone. I don't care if your European,
African, Asian, or one of those Americans (North and South), I want your
honest opinions... based on facts.
I was listening to a local Rock/Metal radio station on my way back from
school today and I heard an interesting conversation. Apparently some pharmacists
are refusing to fill prescriptions based upon what they believe to be
right and wrong. As a result of their moral delimma the pharmacists are
passing the perscription off to another non-objecting pharmacist or
refusing the customer all service relating to that perscription.
The
prescription that some pharmacists are refusing to fill is called "The
Morning After Pill". This pill ensures that even if you didn't use
birth control a pregnancy is impossible.
Questions you should answer:
Are the pharmacists within their rights to reserve service based on moral obligations?
What would you do if you were placed in that situation?
Rules:
Don't be nasty
Back up your thoughts with facts or logic arguments
I will share my opinion along with some rebuttals in my next post.

| Hey Everyone...
Since I would feel way to girly to make this into
some kind of goofy diary. I would like to turn it into many different
things. So I will test some stuff out and you tell me if you like
it, through CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. If you disregard the use of common
courteousies, I will remember you when I become the dictator of the
USA. Ha ha, but really since I am obviously kind of power hungry lets
talk about whos in power right now.
George W. Bush is the President of the United States. If you have something to say about that then please do.
A Senator Murtha has demanded that we "immediately redeploy troops" in
reference to Iraq. Now this may sound like he wants more troops in Iraq
but his next request summarizes his thoughts best. He wants an"over the
horizon presence", and the pursuit of a "diplomatic solutions".
All this is fancy talk to say that we should immediately pull our
troops out of Iraq and try to negotiate with Al Qaeda.
HUH???
Won't this just create another pre 9/11 Afghanistan. Regardless of
whether you think Iraq was a good decision or not pulling out now is
asking for a stronger Al Qaeda or another terrorist organization.
Currently 15 of the 18 'provinces' of Iraq are secure. Hospitals,
schools, and local governments are being established in these areas.
Almost all the American casualties are in the remaining 3 areas, so why
don't we hear about the good 15?
So what did the Republicans do, because this was obviously a fringe
movement (even for the democratic party). They called a vote on it.
Guess what Murtha did, he voted against his own proposal. Out of the
entire House of Representatives (500 members) I believe 4 voted for
this 'resolution'.
Is this just a one man thing or a controlled plan by the Democrats to
turn this into another Vietnam? How far will they go to try to ruin
President Bush's name?
Gimme your thoughts.
